Cookies
This website uses cookies to analyse general web traffic as well as the specific browser preferences of visitors to the site. A cookie is a simple file that is stored on your computer by your web browser (once you’ve clicked to agree cookie usage). Most websites will use cookies to perform some level of usage analysis. Cookies provide data that allows applications to respond to website visitors as individuals by tailoring content to specific interests and usage patterns.
We use cookies to track which pages on the website are being used and how frequently. Cookies also record the type of device, operating system and web browser used to access the website. Our cookies do record the IP address of the visitor. However, we do not use cookies to obtain any personal or private information (other than the data visitors choose to share). The Right to be Forgotten & Prevention of Direct Marketing
The only personal information we ever store for direct marketing purposes is email addresses (and in some instances names). Email addresses are provided to us via functionality embedded within our website (i.e. when an individual subscribes to a mailing list, places an order, or obtains a discount code).
We absolutely respect your right not to receive direct marketing. Should you wish to opt out of receiving marketing emails from Tiddlers & Nippers, please send an email to hello@tiddlersandnippers.com requesting this. We will ensure that your email address is removed from all current (and made unavailable for any future) marketing campaigns and outreach within 28 days of receiving your request.
We fully acknowledge individuals’ ‘right to be forgotten’. Should you wish for your data to be removed from our database in its entirety, please send an email to hello@tiddlersandnippers.com requesting this. We will delete all personal data we hold within 28 days of receiving your request. However, in some instances we may need to ‘suppress’ your personal information (i.e. delete all but essential data, required to ensure we meet legal obligations relating to the tracking of personal data retention). Once those obligations have been fulfilled, all remaining data will be removed.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your personal information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Our Mobile App
This section explains what our Tiddlers & Nippers app for iPhone and Android collects, and why. Everything else in this policy also applies to the app.
Notifications. If you allow notifications, your phone gives the app an anonymous notification token. We store this token, whether your phone is iPhone or Android, and when the app was last used, so we can send you notifications such as offers, new products, live shopping alerts and order updates. The token doesn’t contain your name or contact details.
Order updates. When you place an order in the app, your notification token is attached to the order so we can tell you when it has been dispatched, is out for delivery and has been delivered.
Favourites. If you save favourites, we store the products you’ve saved alongside your notification token, so we can tell you when a favourite comes back in stock or drops in price.
Basket reminders. Reminders about items left in your basket are scheduled on your phone itself. No information is sent to us for this.
Checkout and your account. Orders, payments and account sign-in in the app are handled securely by Shopify, in the same way as on our website. As on our website, our checkout uses tools from Meta and Google to measure purchases and improve our advertising.
Kids Fun Zone. Colouring pages and activities are printed or shared directly from your phone. We don’t collect any information when they’re used.
What we don’t do. The app doesn’t show adverts, doesn’t use your phone’s advertising ID, and we never sell your information.
Who helps us. To run the app we use Shopify (shop and checkout), Expo, Apple and Google (delivering notifications), Google (securely storing notification tokens) and Judge.me (product reviews).
Children. The app is intended for parents and other adults. The Kids Fun Zone is designed to be enjoyed by children with an adult, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices. You can turn notifications off at any time in your phone’s settings, and deleting the app stops all notifications. To have your app data deleted, email hello@tiddlersandnippers.com or visit tiddlersandnippers.com/pages/delete-account. We’ll delete it within 28 days.
